Vivien is trained in a range of psychological therapies. Underlying her approach to therapy is primary focus on authenticity, empowerment and honesty. Vivien believes in building psychological flexibility to adapt to life’s demands and broadening the range of our life experiences to create long lasting change.

Vivien Suttner has a broad range of expertise having undertaken specialized training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical and Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Vivien uses a trauma informed approach to therapy which is compassionate, strength based way and collaborative.
Vivien works with children, adolescents and adults. She has enjoyed co-facilitating groups and conducting training programs.
Vivien has considerable expertise in psychological assessmentof adults and children. She assesses children with academic difficulties viz. specific learning disorders (e.g. dyslexia), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Neurodiveristy and cognitive ability (IQ) for adults and children are areas of special interest.
Vivien has conducted training on a range of topics such as trauma informed therapy, child development, specific learning disabilities, stress management, mindfulness, couples therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy.
As the principal psychologist of 360 Psychology, Vivien has a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology. She is also a board registered provisional psychologist supervisor. Vivien has 25 years’ experience as a psychologist and prior to that worked as a crisis counsellor.
